Vision to Reality: Supporting Youth Out of Care

This initiative was born from our experiences working with youth in foster care, beginning as a vision five years ago. While assisting children aged 5 to 17, we witnessed the difficulties they encountered as they neared adulthood. Many felt lost after turning 18, lacking direction and support. This inspired us to establish a nonprofit dedicated to guiding them through this crucial transition.

We aim to fill the substantial gap in resources for youth transitioning from foster care. By concentrating on transitional housing and vital support programs, we empower young adults to navigate this significant life stage effectively. Our role is crucial in fostering resilience and self-reliance, especially for those without a safety net.

Tender Teachings is devoted to making a meaningful difference for individuals aged 18-21, equipping them with the necessary tools and support to reset their lives and forge a brighter path forward.
